Still keen to nurture her multi-lingual abilities, Corinna went on to study French and German at the University of Bristol. While she was there, she was invited play at a party at one of Long Island’s biggest estates where major commercials (Ralph Lauren) and programmes (Gossip Girl) have been filmed. However, one of her biggest highlights she cites is being invited to New York in 2007 when she was seventeen to record three of her songs, thanks to New York songwriter Teddy Christman and grammy award winning producer Fred Guarino. This instantly gained her 20,000 plays on Myspace.
She continued to write songs and in 2005 her song "Resistance" was voted as hot track of the week on Pulse Rated, former leading digital radio station for unsigned music in the UK. Not long after, at the age of 6 she composed her first piece "Rainy Afternoon".Īt the age of 8, Corinna moved to the UK where she pursued her musical interests further and began learning to play the guitar in her early teens. She began to play tunes by ear on the piano as a child, before taking up piano lessons at the age of 5. However, fed on a diet of 90s MTV, her biggest passion has always been music.
